South-West

South-West France is one of the country’s most diverse and under-the-radar wine regions. Stretching from the edge of the Massif Central down to the Pyrenees, it offers a rich mosaic of terroirs, microclimates, and grape varieties that set it apart from more famous French appellations. Known for its deep reds, especially from Malbec (locally known as Auxerrois) in Cahors, the region also produces elegant whites and rustic, food-friendly wines that reflect the land’s heritage and charm.
